If you own or rent a property in the South or East Lake Morton historic districts, we encourage you to join the Lake Morton Neighborhood Association.

Membership is for one year and runs from January to December.

Why join?

The Lake Morton Neighborhood Association is open to all residents and businesses of the South and East Lake Morton areas. The organization relies on membership to provide community support for programs and events such as regular meetings, porch parties, Adopt-a-Lake events, and others. In 2007, LMNA worked with the City of Lakeland on the Special Public Interest Zoning District for Florida Southern College to establish clear protections for the historic integrity of neighborhood. We also purchased and maintain the lighted swans around Lake Morton for the holidays. LMNA hosted the 4th Annual Home and Garden Tour adding a trolley service to transport participants. Meeting speakers covered topics including the Dixieland CRA, Florida-friendly gardening, super homestead exemption issues, design guidelines, and more.

Membership Levels

  • The Business Membership ($50 per year)
  • The Household Membership ($25 per year)
  • The Individual Membership ($15 per year)
  • Individual Senior Membership (age 65 or older) ($10 per year)

Note: To maintain our membership dues at their current levels, we are no longer able to offer free tickets to the Home and Garden Tour.
