The LMNA is opposed to any demolition of historic structures within the Historic Lake Morton Neighborhood.  The neighborhood is slowly losing the historic homes that have been the backbone of the neighborhood for the past 100 years.

As Jim Malless stated in the article, "If we lose too much of that historic character, we risk losing the historic designation and losing what makes it such a great neighborhood."
