5th Annual Historic Home & Garden Tour

The 5th Annual Lake Morton Neighborhood Association Historic Home and Garden Tour is on Saturday, March 8, 2008.

This annual tour showcases the South and East Lake Morton Historic Districts, an area largely developed between 1906 and 1926 as Lakeland's first significant suburb and currently Lakeland's largest concentration of pre-1930 residential buildings.

Approximately 10 to 15 homes and gardens will be showcased on the self-guided tour that runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests can walk, drive or ride the complimentary open-air trolley through the tree-shaded brick streets of the Lake Morton Neighborhood.

Tickets go on sale starting February 7th at the following local businesses:

Fast Frame 117 South Kentucky Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801

Home Essentials 314 North Kenucky Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801

Vintage, Inc. 201 McDonald Street, Lakeland, FL 33803

Tickets cost $10 each and will also be available on the day of the tour at our starting location, Southside Baptist Church at 310 McDonald Street, Lakeland, FL 33803.
